Working with Azure and Power Platform technologies to build and enhance data warehouses, Power Apps, and Power BI reports to help achieve the goals of the Foundation and country programs. Involves SQL, Azure Data Factory, DHIS2 aggregate and tracker program development, DHIS2 API usage for output and input, DAX, M, Power Automate, and even a little VBA programming. Never a dull moment (in a good way)! Bonus, 2023: now working in Azure Databricks, even doing a little Python programming!

Utilized T-SQL skills to maintain and enhance the population of a data warehouse of pharmacy fill data, and the distribution of data in different formats to associated vendors. Also involved in the exploration of Azure as the new platform for this service.

As a member of two sprint teams, I divide my time between helping to maintain a legacy enterprise data warehouse on a MySQL and Vertica platform and helping to develop the new enterprise data warehouse. All development on the new data warehouse is done using the full SQL Server 2012 business intelligence technology stack (SSIS, SSRS, Tabular SSAS) in Visual Studio 2012, using SVN for source control, tSQLt for unit testing, and Jenkins for continuous integration.
