This includes work like building pitch decks, docs, and budgets for potential partners. Listed below are some of the major projects and my work on them.Kena: Bridge of Spirits: A third-person, action-adventure title for PS4/5 (Contract work)● Led design revisions for player mechanics, enemies, and bosses in the game● Pitched and implemented combat scenarios with unique combat mechanics● Revised player attacks, combos, dodge, and recovery timings as well as damage balancingProject 5: A third-person, melee-combat prototype built in UE4 for PC/consoles● Prototyped abilities and combos for the player character● Wrote most of the documentation for the combat tools and system, detailing things like damage calculation, character attack and ability designs, and sample game modesProject 4: A first-person shooter demo built in UE4 for PC● Helped outline the pacing and narrative beats of the demo● Grayboxed the fight and grapple sections in the demo, as well as 2 multiplayer PvP maps● Authored the grapple and gunplay design docs for others to build from

    I worked on the combat system for this melee-combat, action-adventure VR game made for the Oculus Quest.● Owned the combat and was responsible for bringing visceral combo-heavy combat into VR● Built the initial combat prototype with attacks, combos, and enemy reactions● Wrote and maintained the GDD for the combat system● Scripted the combat for the two enemy AIs and the player: combos, attack, and defense● Managed audio, visual, and animation direction to deliver snappy and feels-good combat● Worked with programming to bring the combat system tool from concept to production
