Having retired as a patent attorney in 2017, I am now following other interests. My career in IP now seems a very long time ago. I'm now busy with:Helping run CyclAbility Community Interest Company providing cycling facilities for a wide range of people including those with disabilities and helping other people and communities overcome the many barriers to cycling.I'm an advocate for electric bicycles which make it practical (and more enjoyable) for more people to cycle, more often and for more journeys. We lend out a variety of electric cycles to help people get back to cycling and/or to help them decide whether to buy one for themselves.During lockdown I helped refurbish and repair many bikes bikes for key workers and still do this (although on a much smaller scale)I'm also a trustee and membership secretary of Cyclox (the voice of cycling in Oxford)I continue to be interested (and concerned) by environmental issues and continue to help maintain and look after our smallholding. Occasionally, I put my feet up with a glass of wine or cider!
