Work Experience: Over 15 years Top-Tier Corporate experience as Chief Commercial/Concession Officer in Uganda Railways Corporation in charge of commercial business development and revenue growth and contract management - monitoring and evaluating the railway concessionaire's performance and arbitration process, Head of Financial Operations & Credit Control in Warid Telecom (U) Ltd and as National Leaf Finance Manager, Management Accounting Manager and others in British American Tobacco (U) Ltd. It is key to note that I am knowledgeable about the transport sector, East Africa's economic, social, cultural and political characteristics and a general understanding of the development in the region.Onus: Responsible for strategy, corporate governance, management of private public partnerships, business operations, working capital, financial/management reporting, change, budgeting & forecasting, policy documentation, cost/internal control compliance, relationship, workforce and supply chain management. Management style: Management through people, objectives and systems and Engagement of teams/Optimize and standardize business operations through application of best practices.Achievements:+ Reopening up of the Marine Railway routes in Jun 2018 via Lake Victoria ( Dar es salaam - Dodoma – Mwanza – Port Bell – Kampala) and in Dec 2019 (Kisumu – Jinja/Port Bell) that had been out of operational for over 10 years+ Securing European Union funding of €0.3 million for feasibility study for expansion of the railway passenger service in the Greater Kampala metropolitan Area which covers four districts i.e. Kampala, Mpigi, Wakiso and Mukono. The study evaluated the economic and financial viability of the expanded services and also included staff training.
