Security Data 360 (Data Alchemy): Leading effort to create a data-driven culture by transforming our fragmented and siloed data environment, managed by multiple teams across different organizations, into a centralized repository. Currently, we store 8-10PB of data locally, processing 15B events/day for network monitoring with the remaining being host and application logs. We're achieving this by implementing a hybrid data lake and data mesh architecture with Azure Data Lake, Data Bricks, Synapse, Logstash, and Kafka, coupled with our on-prem data warehouse and ELK.Hyper-Ingestion: Led big data team in establishing patterns & tech to source 700+ sources across GM in 12 months. Expanded data for insights from 5K to 3M tables, encompassing 1K+ sources, thousands of databases, millions of tables, and trillions of rows. Spearheaded ETL, data movement, data healing, data profiling, & data protection using microservice architecture, Java/Python, and Pivotal tech. Ensured data completeness, accuracy, and consistency.Vehicle Data Factory: Led big data engineering team in re-platforming connected vehicle data from 11M vehicles on the road. Migrated from outdated Oracle back-end to modern event-based tech, achieving high efficiency and scalability. Oversaw creation of innovative solutions like Vehicle Data Factory, using cutting-edge technologies like Kafka, Spark, Redis, and Hadoop. Capable of handling high velocity (10B rows/day) and high-volume (3T rows) data sets with ease.

Oversaw all corporate data (operational and integrated) and enterprise-wide business intelligence reporting at US Xpress. Managed a multi-million-dollar budget and provided oversight for consulting firms and technology vendors.

Managed Comcast's National Data Warehouse (NDW), a multi-year, multi-million-dollar initiative to create their first enterprise-wide data warehouse. Provided project management framework, processes, and artifacts while overseeing the execution and delivery of the multi-phase project plan. Delivered status reports to C-level IT and Business sponsors.

Successfully led the implementation of a true enterprise-wide CRM platform (Microsoft Dynamics), which resulted in a $900K initiative.Ensured a consistent, well-documented, and communicated process was in place to manage new BI reporting requests, resulting in improved data accuracy and decision-making.Led the $800K initiative to convert to VoIP and install a new MPLS backbone, improving communication and reducing costs.

As head of Dell's EBI 2.0 program, oversaw a multi-year, multi-million-dollar initiative to extend the data warehouse into an enterprise-wide asset. Key components included the first Integrated Global Data Model, first DATAllegro deployment, expanded Informatica environment, first Metadata Repository, and global program management. Managed over 100 professionals and vendors, developing project management and technical policies and procedures adopted by the entire data warehouse. Led a diverse team of over 40 members from 7 countries and 6 time zones, providing 24/7 follow-the-sun development in 6 languages.
