- Worked with the Voice Technologies team in developing an audio mixing tool for use in speech recognition performance testing for all GM vehicle models- Wrote MySQL queries to retrieve thousands of user-selected speech audio files and vehicle noise files from multiple Linux servers- Developed Perl scripts to communicate between the product's front and back end- Demonstrated that the end product greatly increased the number of mixed audio files the tester could generate in a given timeframe

- Joined the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s experimental rocketry team, which aims to manufacture a boosted dart rocket to compete in the Spaceport America Cup competition- Focused on the design and construction of the rocket’s airframe, utilizing software programs such as MATLAB, OpenRocket and SolidWorks to aid in the process - Developed a compression spring mechanism to deploy the fins on the dart section of the rocket after booster separation- Manufactured the static fins on the rocket's booster section using aluminum honeycomb and prepreg carbon fiber materials
