• Be the key Application Specialist within region• Regional single point of contact for coordinating delivery of solutions to application issues, new projects, and other application related requirements, with involvement from application owners and subject matter experts, for new application solutions and improvements. • Remain current on relevant business and project plans locally and globally and propose and manage relevant project delivery systems and implementations.• Act as a point of contact for project tenders and bids where IT systems and applications are a factor and information, or pricing is required as an input to those bids.• Work with application owners within the region, and with the Global Applications team and the Global Service Desk to understand how systems are developing, if any new applications are being released, and help to publicize and promote these within the region.• Input to IT projects as required, both globally and regionally• Work with Application Service Delivery Leads from the other regions to swap information, solve global issues and stay up to date with what is happening within IT globally.
