In my role, we serve as an extension of State Farm agents' offices by quoting and binding insurance products. With a focus on sales and direct contact with current and potential State Farm customers, we are critical to the success of State Farm. As a State Farm Sales Representative, we promote and focus on business growth as well as retention of our policy holders which is inspired by quality product and good neighbor service. Primary responsibilities include: Serving as first-level contact for inbound phone sales or agent services during non-business hours; Using State Farm systems to perform job duties; Communicating with customers and associates over the telephone, in person and in writing; Applying product, industry and market knowledge to make recommendations; Providing accurate rate quotes and binding applications for insurance products; Coordinating or participating in special projects or committees that enhance the company (the employees, and the clients).
