As an experienced CEO and (private and public) corporate board director, I have developed a particular talent for building consensus across diverse stakeholder groups and transforming complex information into actionable insights. My expertise lies in finding innovative solutions to resource generation and allocation – whether in time, money, or human capital; my passion lies in leading cross-functional teams in highly dynamic and fast-paced environments through major strategic transitions and change. In addition to serving on corporate boards, I was recently appointed to serve as the interim CEO of Bioscience Los Angeles County, Inc. (a non-profit, public-private partnership) to lead the organization’s transition into its next phase of growth. From a diverse and multi-cultural talent base to a wealth of early stage innovation and world-class healthcare systems, the greater Los Angeles region is home to a breadth and depth of assets that make us uniquely suited to be a global leader in bioscience … one that reimagines what a bioscience hub can and should look like – one that leads to improved health outcomes and economic resilience for all of our diverse communities. My board experience spans banking, fintech, and biotech companies as well as nonprofits such as Girls, Inc. (national) and Wellesley College Board of Trustees. In 2021, 2022 and 2023, I was recognized by the LA Business Journal as one of the “most influential leaders and impactful executives in Los Angeles.” I graduated magna cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and Sigma Xi from Wellesley College with a BA in biological chemistry, received a JD from Columbia Law School as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and hold an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. I lived overseas for 7+ years (Hong Kong, London, Melbourne, Sydney) and have traveled extensively across 6 continents.
