This includes developing the framework of and leading our global sustainability strategy, conceptualizing, and creating the vision to drive and amplify our company sustainability efforts, as well as the roadmaps for implementing and executing on these Initiatives. Above all, I ensure we are using Earth Animal as a force for good. Additionally, I am also responsible for imbedding a purposeful culture and unity across all teams and throughout the organization.

As Earth Animal's CMO, I am responsible for the strategic planning, overall management and implementation of all sustainability, brand and marketing efforts while maintaining Earth Animal’s brand authenticity & identity. I work with the sales & marketing teams, cross-functional partners, and external resources to assure successful execution of marketing activation, communication & brand plans to support the company’s sales & financial objectives for all lines of business and each channel. In addition, I am responsible for developing and integrating social and environmental sustainability into our overall business strategy to ensure it remains top of mind as one of our guiding principles.

We are a nonprofit community of brands, manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers that actively pursue sustainable business solutions. We are transforming the pet industry toward accelerated environmental and social sustainability through education, implementation tools, and collaboration.As a Board Member, my primary role is to provide strategic direction for the Coalition through guidance, goal setting, performance metrics and evaluation, member engagement & project management, fundraising, sponsorship's, branding, and marketing. Year over year, we have increased in membership by over 50%.

The Planet Dog Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Planet Dog, PDF is a 501(c)3 non-profit, grant- making organization striving to make maximum impact through grants, product donations, capacity building, and referral services. The mission of the Planet Dog Foundation (PDF) is to promote and celebrate programs in which dogs serve and support their best friends. We fund and support all dogs working to enhance and save human lives. PDF is funded by Planet Dog's sales and fundraising events. And, since 2006, PDF has donated over $1 Million in cash grants and product donations to non-profits nationwide that train, place, and support dogs working to help people in need. My primary role as the VP of the Board is to provide oversight and insight to the executive director and team and that decisions are made to advance the nonprofit’s effectiveness and sustainability, to ensure responsible use of all assets and that our strategy, activities and chosen partners help to grow our mission. In addition, together with the Board of directors, I help ensure we uphold the applicable bylaws and act in accordance with our mission & purpose.

Planet Dog was established in 1997 as the leading values-based & socially responsible lifestyle company in the pet industry that designs and develops award-winning products for dogs. As one of the original partners, I have served as Owner, CRO, Co-CEO, CEO, President, Director of Sales and Marketing, Brand Ambassador, HR Director, Trade Show Manager, Customer Service Representative, Warehouse Worker, Receptionist and Dog Walker. I have driven Planet Dog’s strategic planning, created and implemented its branding and marketing plans, product design & development, budget, operations and management, employee growth and sustainability. I specialize in business development, branding, marketing, merchandising, messaging, multi-channel growth and integration, product development, sustainability, employee management and development. Of my many accomplishments over the course of the company’s growth, I am very proud of these:• Establishing and sustaining a company foundation that has given over $1 Million dollars to support dogs working to enhance and save peoples’ lives. • Opening Planet Dog’s award-winning flagship store in our backyard serving as a resource center for the community. • Leading with compassion, collaboration and tenacity through the recession without sacrificing our commitment to giving. • Creating meaningful and long-lasting relationships with top accounts including LLBean, Life is Good, Orvis, the Black Dog, and Amazon.• Creating and implementing Campus Dog® to bring socially responsible dog products to the collegiate market.• Integrating social and environmental sustainability throughout Planet Dog and our industry. • Spearheading & managing the negotiation of an exclusive licensing partnership with the Life is Good Company. • Bringing our award-winning toy manufacturing back to the USA to ensure safety, quality, jobs, and overall sustainability.

Stonewall Kitchen, creators of award-winning, specialty foods, are a top-awarded, multi-channel company leading the specialty foods industry through inspiration & innovation.When I started at Stonewall Kitchen, we were a small team therefore, I was able to wear many hats. My primary responsibility was to lead their retail store division, growing this division from two to six stores, and from fifteen to seventy-five employees. I drove an annual 60% sales growth year over year during my tenure. I implemented a new POS system, created retail-merchandising programs, developed marketing plans and annual budgets, created sales and merchandising incentive programs, developed and implemented all operational policies and procedures and a full training program for this division. In addition, I attended and participated in trade shows and meetings with key accounts and Brokers to support the Wholesale Division.
