Clinical Consultant-Registered Nurse / Ambulatory Surgery (32-50 hours per week)• Preoperative patient assessment, medication administration, intraoperative circulating (plastic & reconstructive, ENT), and PACU.• Private duty/overnight postoperative care (Plastic & Reconstructive, Orthopaedic, and Spine)• intraoperative assistance, circulating, scrubbing, washing and sterilizing instrumentation when needed• additional intraoperative experience in plastics including g counts for Saline fills, lap sponges, fat transfers, and liposuction• Postoperative patient care including safe delivery analgesics, wound care, and patient transfer to and from bed to wheelchair.• Provide Medicare compliant post operative follow up phone call to patient• Clinical Coordination/Direction of all Clinical Staff within the surgery center to maintain smooth safe operations• Electronic Health Record Build and Training (Superuser)• Ambulatory Surgery Center Consulting (Staffing/Construction/Design/Equipment/Supply)• State Licensing Compliance / AAAHC, AAAASF, and Medicare Compliance (Deemed Status)• Georgia State Department of Community Health Regulatory Compliance• Prep ASC and prepare and furnish necessary Policy and Procedure Manuals for Operations• Clinical Consulting for vendor support and account support• Clinical Education for perioperative staff (Clinical/Administrative Directing, Nursing, Sterile Processing, and Surgical Assisting)

Various temporary nursing contract assignments throughout metro Atlanta. Most assignments are within the perioperative setting. Specialties include surgical services of opthalmology, orthopedics, and gastrointestinal surgery.• Perioperative care of the surgical patient, including preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative assessment.• Daily narcotic counts, testing of intraoperative equipment, setup and breakdown of multiple pieces of operative equipment for a variety surgical procedures per surgical schedule, inventory control of sterile supply.• Intraoperative circulating duties and management of staff during surgical cases.• Circulating duties include verbal and accurate “Time Out”, surgical site prepping, maintaining sterile technique, assisting with gowning/gloving, maintain supplies for procedures, gathering additional sutures, instruments, trays and supplies as requested.
