As the Corporate Training Manager I am responsible for the overall corporate training strategy for the organization. I have created training program manuals, procedures, On-the-Job training (OJT), role-based training plans, curriculums and other performance support materials for various departments and corporate-wide initiatives. I consult on training related projects by initially performing an in-depth training needs analysis prior to creating a training solution. I manage daily operations and budget for the Learning & Development department and its employees. Leading, mentoring and coaching department personnel to increase proficiency and ensure seamless execution of activities that support the training function in important to my role. I have spearheaded and executed the Paycom Learning Management System (LMS) implementation. My team and I monitor and track training in the LMS for all employees and ensure training compliance with regulatory bodies and operational directives. I also serve as subject matter expert (SME) to create and facilitate Instructor-led training (ILT) and e-learning and have designed courses for OJT, Team Leader Development, Onboarding, Train-the-trainer and the LMS. I have collaborated with senior management and outside vendor to implement an executive leadership development program. My role requires continuous research of new development opportunities and training technologies such as new content providers, e-learning software, and performance management tools to support organizational goals and career advancement for employees. Utilizing data analytics and performance assessment tools to evaluate training program effectiveness is critical for long-term training success.
