- Provide detailed submittal packages, panel programs, and databases for Life Safety system customers· Responsible for application engineering layout, design, development and value engineering implementation following the SDC processes· Expectation is to employ appropriate, cost effective, new technology, as applicable, for projects· Manage personal backlog of projects· Provide comprehensive application engineering solutions, focusing on Honeywell XLS Life Safety Systems· Works closely with the Solution Design Centre (SDC) Team Lead and Project Managers to ensure project cost and schedules are achieved· Working Knowledge of the UL & ULC standards or NFPA standards pertaining to fire alarm system control units & installation is essential.· Working Knowledge of Ontario building codes· Provide security design/engineering solutions for Access Control, CCTV, ELPAS, Intercom and Intrusion using- Create and Maintain Fire Alarm Standards and Submittals AutoCAD· Commission and Test Fire and Security Panels in field· Create detailed hour and cost estimates for Fire Alarm Life Safety Systems· Working on large P3 based projects to complete AutoCAD design· Verifire Programming Certified
