The thread through my career has been building. I am passionate about building brands, functions, teams, go-to-market strategies, processes, infrastructures, and cultures that enable the internal alignment and engagement needed to drive results for the business. I have spent my career in and leading marketing functions (largely at software companies), but I have been privileged to have the opportunity to extend my passions and skills to full company strategy and operations. My personal extensibility that makes me a valued executive is due in part to the deep experience I have with M&A that gave me the opportunity to travel the world, work with really smart people, assemble best practices through countless integration workstreams, learn a ton of back office systems, and help companies globally scale. I have learned that I love playing outside of my marketing sandbox, and that it makes me a better marketer. I love combining the art and science that is marketing. While I came up through demand generation, I am also an adept communicator and storyteller who holds up the importance of branding. My strengths lie in partnering with Product and Sales to vision and create go-to-market strategies that all functions execute against in an agile and iterative way leveraging performance results, field and market intelligence, and insights from customers. Internal collaboration and partnership are key for me and I don't practice or support an us vs. them mentality that leads to departmental finger pointing. I have implemented countless structures, martech stacks, and multichannel marketing plans over the years. Personally, I am a change agent with the leadership skills needed to set vision and direction, drive innovation, manage change, and motivate others. I am detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong bias toward action and high level of output. I can both see the big picture and break it down for effective execution. I have a knack for making the complex simple through powerful packaging, presentations, and other forms of communication. I am a servant leader who takes very seriously my role in engaging, growing, supporting, and retaining people. I advocate for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion efforts in the workplace and want to be a part of a culture that's focused on belonging vs. fit.
