I’m that person that simply never grew up! Every little kid says they love puppies and can’t wait to pet the “fuzzy” cows, but most people lose that as they mature. Not me! Need help potty training a puppy? Drop it off for a few weeks, my dogs are great mentors! You have a barn full of piglets that need to be castrated? I’m your gal. And yes, I would absolutely love to do the morning milking on your dairy farm!While I’ve grown to realize that animals are not just fluffy things to play with and require copious amounts of energy and knowledge, my respect for all animals (except snakes!) has grown right alongside my adoration of them! My understanding that livestock have a purpose and are not pets has shaped my life in ways I could not have imagined when I was younger.Throughout my work history, I have really dug into the regulatory side of multiple industries and found that I enjoy finding imaginative ways to make production as compliant as possible, while still remaining efficient. I enjoy working in cross functional groups to ensure that the whole operation remains complaint, from label reviews to common production practices and simply educating workers on why the laws are the way they are. I’m the person that needs to remain busy in work and in my personal time. Need some paperwork filled out, show me how and I can do it! You need help building a house? It just so happens I have some knowledge in that area too, and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty! Simply want to hang out and watch a movie? Count me in but know that I’m bringing my crochet so I don’t go stir crazy sitting still!My father was an electrician my whole life, and if there is one thing he taught me growing up, it is the value of hard work! I will always leave a workplace with a positive impression of me and hopefully all of my past coworkers will be able to attest to my work ethic!
