As I sat by my dormitory window after lights off, cracking the curtains so I could see my book about free schools, I realised there were better ways to learn.I was 11. Ever since then, I’ve been fascinated by how to create the right environment for people to learn, collaborate, and innovate together.I’ve spent my entire career in learning and development. I’ve taught physical theatre in Higher Education, facilitated role play and industrial theatre, and used experiential and traditional approaches to training and development across the corporate, cultural and third sectors - from ‘C' level to coalface.It’s always about building the right environment and enabling people to feel comfortable to fully engage, to bring all of their skills and talents. The more we listen and share time equally, the better we perform, the more we learn, the more we innovate.I’m a certified Thinking Environment® Coach and Facilitator, and a founder member of the Time to Think Collegiate, a global network of consultants authorised to teach the Thinking Environment® - a framework to enable everyone to do their own best thinking.
