Rick Sterger is a trial attorney focused primarily on criminal defense and immigration. In addition, Rick acts as associated counsel where he first chairs jury trials for civil attorneys. Rick brings broad professional experience to his law practice having worked developing business strategies for some of the world's largest corporations: Samsung, Motorola, Sprint, and Dell. His career pivot came at a time of great personal growth where he confronted himself as the primary detractor in his life. It led him to a new and awakened approach to life, business, service, and relationships resulting in a rise to the top of his profession as legal professional. A graduate of Antioch University, Rick holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota, and is admitted to the California Bar, Minnesota Bar, Federal District Court both Southern and Central, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American immigration Lawyers Association and has sat on national and regional committees. Rick is a multi-year recipient of the California State Bar award for pro bono service to indigent clients.
