As a Drug Court Case Manager at Salt Lake County, I work with a multidisciplinary team to help high-risk, high-need clients achieve their goals and change their behavior. I use evidence-based practices, such as EPICS, BITS, and Trauma Informed Care, to assist clients in obtaining and maintaining sobriety, connecting to community resources, and reducing recidivism. I perform risk/needs assessments, make recommendations to the judge, and implement the AllRise Treatment Court Best Practice Standards. I have a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Weber State University, where I learned about substance use and abuse, harm reduction, social work, juvenile justice, public policy, constitutional rights, and family studies. I have previous experience as a Youth Development Specialist and an Administrative Assistant, where I developed skills in direct care, training, crisis response, data entry, and report writing. I am passionate about helping clients overcome their challenges and improve their lives.
