-Implemented the first global Corporate Citizenship Program for a Fortune 500 company-Oversee global program: organizing events for varied levels and locations, lead all program material development including detailed communication plans-Establish and manage program budgets, always coming in at, or under budget. -Present at quarterly all-staff meetings for 500+ attendees

This role gives me an opportunity to constantly learn and work with my widely-ranged skill set. On any given day I will be writing a press release, editing interview questions for news and media outlets, running a video shoot on-site, organizing an employee event, or giving a presentation in front of the company. Our company has been growing rapidly, and I had the opportunity to join a new team at the ground level. This led to a push outside my comfort zone, where I am rising to challenges that are typically beyond entry level. Examples:-Press Releases: writing, editing, and uploading for distribution on a global scale. Entails organizing the release between internal and external groups, and monitoring our release reach through visibility reports-Presenting at quarterly all-hands meetings (600 attendees). Other frequent presentations include new campaigns and program proposals-Content Creation for blogs, media alerts, external pieces, online copy, staff emails, and slide decks. Analyze the metrics for our internal blog posts and video content -Event Planning: awareness campaigns, social events-Internal Campaigns-Providing support for 3 acquisitions-Video shoots: oversee shoots on site, organizing from initial scheduling to post-production distribution-Implement online employee store-Audit ResMed philanthropy: in-depth research on our historical giving and analyzing past budgets-Propose Corporate Social Responsibility Plan: Take findings from philanthropy audit and create a plan that will streamline giving in order to maximize our philanthropy with same dollar amount for better ROI. Plan included developing a budget, job position, corporate matching, and employee volunteer program. This project was a collaboration between multiple internal departments, and outside organizations on a global scale.-Manage inbound requests for interviews, commentary, etc. Provide recommendations on involvement after vetting publication or media outlet.

Over the course of my internship, I focused on 2 projects:1) Implementing a global online employee pilot store2) Mapping out a strategy for ResMed to become a Corporate CitizenMy other work included assisting in the development of global internal and external communication materials, press releases, newsletters, and corporate internal communication.

Order of Omega is a national honor society for Greek Life groups. A minimum GPA of a 3.0 and volunteer involvement is required to join the Order. As a junior, I was elected by Pacific University's Greek Life to being the Vice President. My job is to help organize Greek get-togethers, find qualifying Greek students, and help plan the annual service trip and fundraiser for a local charity.

I manage the marketing for Pacific University's Activities & Cultural Events Board. Most of my work includes managing the social media for our events and campaigns to bring awareness to events on campus. As part of the Executive Board, we determine which events to provide students on campus, ranging from concerts, dances, comedians, and speakers. When we bring events on campus or create them, I come up with marketing campaigns, using various forms of media ranging from posters to online social sites. Other parts of my job included organizing the events from beginning to end, finding and reaching out to talent and groups, technical soundboard work, setting up stages and sound kits. During my time in this role, our school got a new website and email distribution system. We lost our number one email newsletter for distributing all campus events. In my senior year, I started up a new email distribution, "The Weekend Update," and worked with all university leaders and groups to ensure their events were included and sent out to the entire student body.

The Greek Senate Board is a student-run group managing Greek life at Pacific University. I created the Greek Standards Committee to bring together representatives from each chapter of greek life, and objectively listen to issues between greek members and chapters.As the Vice President of Communications, I am the main facilitator for conversation, including disagreements between groups, communication with the undergraduate student senate, and managing the greek life social media.

Being a Project Coordinator for CGE, I work on many different committees throughout the semester. Being on a committee includes coming up with projects for awareness, organizing events, and putting together marketing campaigns. For each event, I coordinate between programs and professionals in the Portland area, and campus departments. Projects I've worked on include:Take Back the Night - A march against sexual violenceStep in Her Shoes - A march against domestic violenceDate Doctor - A speaker teaching tips & tricks on dating in today's worldSlam Poetry - Bringing an acclaimed poetry speaker to our campus to talk about gender/sexuality/raceLove Your Body Week - a week of themes for each day emphasizing body acceptance and loveBrown bag discussions - Monthly discussions on modern topics (shaving, defining feminism, etc)Girls Today - providing 12 to 16 girls with a look at the college experience Project Lead:The first annual LGBTQ week on campus - with scheduling a full week of events on campus. I was the liaison and coordinated between the Center for Gender Equity, Campus Wellness, the Counseling Center, Rainbow Coalition, and various off-campus professionals in the Portland Area.BoXXXer Talk - I hosted the first open sexual discussion on our campus. This is a weekly discussion on our campus radio station, where we bring different people on the air every week to discuss different topics so we could create a healthy culture and safe space to discuss sex and promote education.

When I came to Pacific University, Boxer Radio was a dingy room in our University Center's basement. At max we had five students involved with hosting their own radio shows. As a media student, and a passionate music lover, I didn't understand why our radio station was not being utilized. I set out to change that, and was hired as the station manager. Within one year, I had over sixty students involved with Boxer Radio, hosting their own talk shows and learning disc jockey skills. My second year with the station, I turned Boxer Radio into my senior project. I am in the middle of doing research on what it takes to "keep the art of radio alive", especially with a younger generation.I organize a schedule of over sixty students, and putting shows together. I am always on call for DJ's that may need technical help or have other questions. I manage all the social media and the website, since our radio station is online based streaming. Part of my job entailed a complete rebranding of Boxer Radio. I used social media and other on-campus campaigns to get students involved, including a competition for a new logo.

I was elected to this position after our team was finally formed this Fall. I have been pushing for a women's team the past two years, and played touch with the boys in the meantime. I took initiative to recruit women on campus, encouraging them that rugby is empowering and we're all new to the sport. I was elected as a co-captain, and we got enough girls in one semester to compete in games. We held our own against local teams in the Portland area, and won our second match! As a captain, my job is to recruit, encourage, and be there for my teammates.

The Silk Road Review is Pacific University's literary review magazine, accepting international and local submissions. I alternate between a fiction and poetry editor, reviewing submissions to identify the best submissions for editors to make final touches before publication. Other tasks include turning away submissions and interviewing select authors.

Writing a script of daily news, shooting the video, editing the shots, and posting the video to social media by 8am.
