• Support & deliver new capabilities for inventory management, location master data, revenue accounting & miscellaneous small solutions for Starbucks retail stores.• Analyze trends and future direction to identify technical solutions for business needs.Key Projects:• IMS Uplift: Rewrote a legacy Inventory Management System based on IBM WebSmart and PHP into a modern architecture based on React and Node.js. Redesigned UI and added accessibility features. Enabled the ability to track inventory in real-time.• Pull-to-Thaw: Designed a mobile application to allow store baristas to easily determine how much frozen food to thaw for sale. The recommendation is based on current thawed inventory, sales forecasts, thaw time, and shelf life. Accurately tracks food through its entire lifecycle from being removed from the freezer, to becoming ready to sell, and finally either being sold or expiring and discarded.• Digital 86: Architectured mechanism for determining menu availability for consumption by the Starbucks Mobile Order & Pay app to prevent customers from ordering items that are out of stock or not sold at a particular store. Availability updates automatically based on ready to sell inventory and allows manual overrides by store baristas.• Canary Dashboard: Designed and developed a single page application displaying key performance indicators pertaining to enterprise system stability and availability aggregated from data sources such as Splunk, ELK, New Relic & custom monitors.

• Senior support staff responsible for Teavana store Point of Sale & Network Systems.• Developed applications to automate common maintenance & troubleshooting taskson Point of Sale systems resulting in a 40% decrease in Help Desk incidents.• Implemented custom monitoring & alerting for retail equipment and network telemetry.• Led a project to upgrade retail store networks as well as Point of Sale equipmentand software at over 350 retail locations to meet PCI 3.0 compliance.
