Occupational Health And Safety Advisor
Current• Develop and maintain key relationships with communities and partners, including African Nova Scotian, L'nu, Acadian, Immigrant and Newcomers communities to support understanding and awareness of occupational health and safety legislation, and how to properly exercise rights and responsibilities in the workplace;• Deliver workplace awareness seminars and webinars, in English and French, and in other language (through use of interpreter with Translation Services) to secondary schools, Private Career Colleges, Community Colleges, Universities and business safety associations across Nova Scotia;• Provide leadership, innovation and consultative services to organizations to promote and evaluate effective occupational health & safety (OH&S) activities.
