Since 2005, I started a small interactive agency to again provide friendly, easy-to-engage interactive services with reliable project delivery. My clients get big agency delivery experience without the big agency fees. At a manageable agency scale, interactive projects can be flexible and adaptable to client needs without being skewed by agency billable targets and staffing shell games. We can deliver very quickly when needed but also allow projects to move at a natural pace. We think this makes the quality better and the process far more enjoyable. We build websites, microsites, and smaller-scale custom software apps and mobile apps. We build in best practices for content development, SEO, graphic design, content management, analytics, data security, and software development. I work with large, often Fortune 100, clients to review interactive agency proposals and statements of work for scope to value assessments. Proposals range from Facebook and paid placement online advertising to website design/build and data-driven online experiences. I assess the proposed work for scope clarity, potential issues with concept and/or delivery, team structure and staffing model, and value versus fees. I have saved my clients quite a bit of hassle managing agencies and often quite a bit of money that can be used more effectively for greater brand reach.

I co-founded Dakasa with two other ex-Sapient consultants to provide high-quality interactive consulting in a friendly, easy-to-engage package. We had great clients, great employees, and lots of fun. I learned quite a bit about starting a business, being an entrepreneur and an operational person, HR, accounting and financial management, and quite a bit about people and workplace politics. I thank everyone involved for many great years that I look back upon quite fondly.
