I am currently working as a Business Intelligence and Reporting Developer (Microsoft SSRS/SSAS/Power BI + IBM Cognos 11) developer (consultant). My activities space a lot of different aspects of a Banking Datawarehouse and BI environment, from modelling and implementing Datamart tables (Oracle), supporting the creation of OLAP Cubes (SSAS), IBM Cognos Frameworks and Cubes, integrating Fact and Dimension tables with necessary fields, developing parts of a DataStage ETL process and especially used Oracle PL/SQL procedures, analyzing requisites and developing SSRS and IBM Cognos 11 Reports, and supporting Business Analyst with data extractions and analysis.

Analyze, develop, test, optimize and refactor PL/SQL scripts/procedures regarding data migration from "Ina Assitalia" insurance DB to "Generali Assicurazioni" insurance DB, both belonging to "Generali Group" company, which represents the final customer of the project.

Mainly my duties has been gathering business requirements from company's customers (mainly Absolut Bank, in Moscow) regarding credit risk management, create then formal specifications in the form of High and Low Levels Analysis Documents. Based on these gathered requirements implement, using company's product StrategyOne, parts of the credit risk management automated process. After this phase my duties also included the test of such implemented parts including of course the creation of test cases and related documentation.

Develop some parts of the company product (GarsiaWE), mainly the creation of Reports, using JasperReport (and iReport for the creation of the template). This duty included the creation in the webapp of the needed UI (mainly using JSF) for running these reports and the gathering of the information needed to populate the reports using EJB, JPQL and JPA. Moreover I also performed general bug fixing of the application and developed some (small) parts of the business logic.

Create, run and document functional tests for the company's product OceanOne (anti fraud product for the credit risk management). Using OceanOne and StrategyOne (Credit Risk management's Strategy Automated Engine) products implementing, maintaining and refactoring (caused mainly by performace issues and changes in requirements) of some parts of the Anti Fraud strategy for a customer's (Neos Finance) project ad performing functional testing of the modification introduced.
