As a versatile content creator and independent journalist, I have honed a diverse skill set across service, hospitality, retail, dance, theatrical production, and media production. My passion for storytelling and communication has driven me to actively engage in both academic and professional environments.During my time at Amarillo College, I took the initiative to launch and host my own web show, "Student Life Live," as part of the student media team. This experience solidified my commitment to producing engaging and impactful content. Whether working behind the camera, on stage, or in the field, I bring creativity, dedication, and a proactive approach to every project.In addition to my academic endeavors, I founded High Plains Media, an independent journalism startup dedicated to amplifying the voices of "The People," particularly those from underserved or underprivileged communities. I cover local events, gathering video footage to create vlog-style or news-style videos that describe the event and feature interviews with organizers and citizens. I also report on political and news stories, driven by the goal of bringing attention to issues that matter most to the community.I thrive in environments where I have the creative freedom to pursue my vision without restrictions. My independent approach has led me to create two successful web shows and work as an independent contractor, where I excel in public speaking, event hosting, and producing compelling digital content. While I can collaborate when necessary, I’m known for having a strong personality and a clear vision for my projects, preferring to lead the design and execution to ensure the best outcome.
