I am a young professional who has held several roles over the past 23 years. My first job was raking hay for my grandparents at 7 years old. I continued to work on the ranch until I was 17 and got my first "real" job at the local movie theater. From there I made my first attempt at college but ultimately decided to go into the work force instead. I cut my teeth in the professional world at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. I moved up the ranks and eventually earned the title of Assistant General Manager. After pursuing this role for over a year, I lucked out and found an extremely easy but lucrative job working at a head shop. I eventually decided to look for a more fulfilling jobs and tried out a few different industries. I tested out the bar industry, restaurant work, and even insurance sales.I eventually found a well-paying and steady job as a supervisor at a liquor store. This job allowed me to have the mental and financial capacity to start saving money to go back to college. I spent the next 2 years saving until I eventually had enough to try again.At the exact same time that I started college, I received my MED Badge and got a new amazing part time job at a dispensary. This was the best time of my life so far partially due to the fact that I also applied for and received several scholarships. I was back in school, had money to spare, and had a very cool job. I was even fortunate enough to assist a graduate student with one of the first collegiate studies on hemp in the country.I first graduated from Front Range Community College with an A.S. in Horticulture Business Management then Transferred to Colorado State University where a received a B.S. in the same subject. I was fortunate enough to graduate Suma cum Laude and #1 in my class.Shortly after I graduated, I began working full-time again and was promoted to supervisor. I eventually left that role after a year to accept a position as a Manger of Retail Operations. After just one month, I was technically promoted to the role of Interim GM. Lastly, I have recently left that role to start my own business. Which brings us to the present. I am now the Owner/Operator of Yes You Cann LLC. We are a hiring agency catering specifically to the cannabis industry in Colorado. I have just started the company but keep your ear out for updates coming soon!
