Managed all projects related to the maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of the Indiana Statehouse in such a way to ensure that the historical integrity of the building was kept intact.Responsible for operation of the Public Works Division (PWD), which manages most of the State’s major construction and maintenance related activities including project feasibility, design, bidding, contract award, contract management and construction management. Typical projects included new construction, remodels and expansion of existing structures such as prisons, office buildings and recreational facilities. The PWD oversaw more than 800 projects per year with a combined value of over $60 million.Served as Project Manager for the design and construction of a new $8 million multipurpose facility that co-located several agency divisions into one building resulting in a substantial annual savings from having these locations located separately.Served on the Governor's High Performance Government team. The HPG team was responsible for reviewing, and where necessary, re-engineering many of the State’s major business processes to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
