A career path that started by following the classical sales and marketing development route led to many years of successful performance as sales director on the UK board of globally renowned FMCG drinks businesses, before running similar drinks companies of a significant size. Taking a turn into Business Consultancy - helping small and medium sized businesses improve their operations and performance - also drew me into lecturing on Business Studies at degree level and gaining a Level 4 teaching qualification and supporting apprentices on their entry into the workplace.Finally found the role I have been looking for; helping businesses create local jobs as a Business Growth Advisor with a not-for-profit social enterprise.
