I’m Steve, CEO and Co-founder of Reach Social Enterprises and Reach Social Foundation 👋I’ve been a passionate and loyal participant in the care industry for more than 35 years, and find myself in my later years, championing and working towards, while using all my experience and values, changing public perceptions of people with lived experiences of a learning disability in the hope of changing the culture from " they cannot" to " they can". Offering engaging and meaningful opportunities coupled with media showcasing, is key for this to succeed. 🙌I have an ethos that care and support should be delivered using a system and guides based on an individual’s strengths which along with a holistic person-centred approach will ensure the care and or support packages I deliver are bespoke and specific to the individual 👥 In addition added social value through commerce and social enterprise plays such an important part in occupational and community inclusion/interaction to those who require support to meet their aspirations.
