Steve started his career as an Aircraft Technician in the UK Royal Air Force, before joining British Aircraft Corporation and moving to Saudi Arabia in support of the then-new Al Yamamah project. Having worked previously as a PC and Network Support Technician, he moved into a Network Engineering role with British Aerospace in 1990. His initial project was the rollout and support of a kingdom-wide LAN/WAN infrastructure comprising 700+ PCs.Moving to BAE Systems in UK as IT Technical Architect in 1997, Steve oversaw and consulted on a range of infrastructure upgrades and systems rollouts culminating an a successful company- wide Y2K project in 2000. Steve moved back to Saudi Arabia, again with BAE Systems, to take a commanding position in the HP OpenMail & MS Windows NT Infrastructure upgrade and rollout in 2003. Staying on in the role of *nix Network Evangelist, he was instrumental in the success of the MS Exchange & Windows XP project in 2006.A change in pace and life circumstances took Steve into the world of infrastructure project management in late 2006, where he successfully applied his Project Management, Customer Relationship Management and Vendor Management skills into diverse areas of BAE Systems' wide project portfolio, before leaving the company in May, 2015.Moving to Dubai, UAE, as the Business Development Manager for Reflections Technologies FZCO, Steve's expertise, knowledge and experience allowed for the incorporation of business-winning processes, procedures and documentation into a software engineering environment, enabling successes in private company and government departmental project bids.In recent years, Steve has diverted into the consultancy market and matured into a sought-after resource across the region in the specification, delivery and support of a wide range of networked services for small and large businesses alike.
