Responsibilities were to work with existing production lines. Updating Control plans, Work instructions, Daily inspection sheets etc. The focus was to look for cost reductions and process improvements. The processes were welding, paint and assembly.Skills Qualifications - CSSBB Certified Six Sigma Black Belt- Work well with others, thrive in team environment.- The ability to learn quickly, a very hands on person. - Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand how parts fit and function. - Experience on implementing changes to both products and processes internally and supplied. - Worked on several different types of manufacturing processes to reduce cost and increase the ease of manufacturing.- Experience working with suppliers to implement changes to their components. - Worked with suppliers to prove out their process capability to the quality standards during new product launch.- Experience with quality requirements, QS9000, ISO 16949.- Experience with Blue prints, GD&T Gage design, Statistical process control, Process capabilities, Problem solving, Root cause analysis and Design of experiments. - Have some computer skills Excel, Word, Lotus notes Power point etc. - Available to the demands of the position. This includes extra work time or travel as required. - Always looking for new challenges and like to learn new things.
