Primary responsibilities are creating and supporting Business Banking Intelligence data cubes, refreshing and maintaining Business Banking data mart on a SAS platform, fulfilling internal and external customer ad hoc requests from the both Business Banking platforms (DB2 and SAS), providing technical support for the Customer Perks program database and other ancillary departmental databases. The lead data analyst for the conversion of the NCC Customer Perks program to PNC’s Customer Perks program...Significant accomplishments: • Successfully developed and implemented Business Intelligence data cubes.• Successfully streamlined the monthly SAS Business Banking data mart refresh process thus reducing the data lead time by 50%; • Designed, changed/enhanced and implemented software changes to the Customer Program Management Access database. This program brings over 100,000 accounts to the Bank annually.• Successfully coordinated / managed the conversion of multiple magnetic tape files to an FTP process being sent to Harte Hanks for Business Banking data mart. The project consisted of coordinating on-shore and off-shore resources.• Played a critical role in preventing the United Physicians, a large physicians group in Michigan, project from being aborted. The Business Banking Sales Department was working with United Physicians to present them the Work Perks program. I supplied data as well as a change to the existing data table structure which enabled the developers to complete their project on time thus providing National City capability of approaching the customer.• Made significant enhancements to the CCDW department’s project tracking Access database. Primary job responsibilities were the creating and maintaining of various Microsoft databases using VBA to track Retail Branch Sales, calculate Retail Branch employee commissions on sales and report sales and payouts to the Retail Branch Network. There are approximately 1,200 branches and 10,000 employees. Main office with 29 branches and 3 affiliate banks with 13 branches...Significant accomplishments:Successfully coordinated the installation of a Dealer Floor Plan mainframe system in the user community. This resulted in an increase in user productivity and improved managing of the floor plan lines, resulting in increased bank revenue. Prior to this implementation there was no dealer floorplan software being used.

Primary Responsibilities included managing and coordinating retail, marketing, and analysis projects between the user community and the MIS Department. Managed EDI project, accounting its progress, user liaison and establishing contacts with the vendors. 300 retail outlets generating $3 billion in sales...Significant accomplishments:Successfully implemented Falcon, a mainframe on-line data entry product, on an IBM ES/9000 in MIS and the user community. The implementation of this product supplanted the need to development new CICS screens. Development time to create on-line screens was reduced 80%.Identified the most cost effective method to provide the user community with video rental analysis data. Successfully coordinated the parallel of the video rental analysis project on a Teradata Database Computer and an IBM ES-9000 mainframe using DB2. Identified that by using existing resources, the IBM solution saved Phar-Mor approximately $4 million and improved video rental inventory management.Managed and coordinated the integration of retail music product line into the Phar-Mor Buying System. This resulted in proper product identification, improved product replenishment and purchasing analysis. This enabled the existing purchasing system to be used by the Music department.Provided management, organization and coordination for an in-store scanning operation of several product lines. Coordinated 300 stores, three areas within MIS, two user departments and Telxon Professional Services. This resulted in identifying and replenishing the most profitable products, which increased the Music and Sportswear departments' performance.Conducted research in the Legal Department to replace the existing legal system. Developed a Legal System Requirements Document detailing responsibilities and duties of personnel, workflow, and recommendations for a replacement system.

The data center supported 72 retail stores, three warehouses and 800 independent retail outlets with sales of $300 million.Significant accomplishments:• Planned and managed computer system upgrade from IBM 370-125 to IBM 4331-1 which improved processing speed by 40% and provided for software growth. Improved processing of grocery orders from corporate and independent retail stores thus resulting in efficiencies in the warehousing environment.• Evaluated, recommended and successfully installed the replacement of magnetic tape drives which increased system availability and reduced tape consumption by 25%.• Researched, evaluated, recommended and successfully implemented hand-held terminal hardware in a corporate and independent retail stores, which resulted in increased flexibility in application software development for the hand-held terminals.
