With 16 years of experience in intelligence analysis and management, I have a proven record in a variety of intelligence units and operational units across law enforcement including specialist units. I am trained and experienced in using a wide spectrum of tactical and strategic analytical techniques to accurately assess threat and risk, providing realistic evidence based recommendations to support decision making at all levels and provide solutions. I have supported complex and lengthy investigations leading to successful outcomes and have received multiple awards and commendations for my work. This has included critical incidents and threat to life investigations, working in high pressure environments and delivering results to strict deadlines.My current portfolio is centred on assessing and understanding the threat and harm from serious and organised crime. I have supported the development of the national assessment tool for this area of business and the theory and guidance behind it through testing, critical review and workshops. I have created and delivered bespoke training to various groups from practitioners to front line police officers. I am currently developing and supporting the implementation of Serious and Organised Crime Local Profiles; I am considered a subject matter expert in this area of Law Enforcement.I lead a sizable team of Analysts in Cheshire Constabulary using my experience, skills and knowledge to mentor and support their development and products. I have also specialized in the use of GIS (mapping software) incorporating multiple data sets to produce various analytical outputs to support investigations and mapping thematic threat.
