DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics Level III certified logistician responsible for the professional development of over 40 Life Cycle Logistics specialists and the integrated product support support provide to six Program Executive Offices for physical and IT infrastructure and operational mission systems. Ensure integrated product support is addressed through cradle-to-grave involvement in project/system development from acquisition strategy, support plan and technical data development through deployment and sustainment.

Program management oversight of all logistics requirements for the One System Ground Control Station in support of Army’s Extended Range/Multi-Purpose (ERMP) unmanned aerial vehicle. Oversight responsibilities include directing and coordinating the completion and delivery of all logistics requirements (maintenance and operator technical manuals, logistics management information (LMI) database maintenance, as well as providing qualified field service support personnel for both U.S.-based systems and systems deployed overseas in support of combat operations; control account manager for budgets under a required earned value management system; and pricing and basis of estimate (BOE) for ERMP system design development, contractor logistics and low-rate initial production contract proposal efforts. Management oversight of integrated logistics support (ILS) to a Performance Based Logistics contract in support of Shadow Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Oversight responsibilities include integrating logistics support efforts with engineering, production and sustainment efforts; logistics support analysis to ensure all ILS elements are considered in supportability planning and fielding sustainment.

Provide acquisition and logistics support to the Navy’s Acquisition, Integrated Logistic Support and Installation Manager, Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare in support of the Decoy Launching System; maintains status databases and plans and schedules installations based on ship availability periods: plans, schedules, tracks, and coordinates DLS Ship Alteration installations and Ordnance Alterations installations, in accordance with the Fleet Modernization program and approved Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).

Task Lead responsible for all aspects of Professional Services, including program management support, financial management, IT systems management and administrative management in direct support of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Research, Development and Acquisition, Chief Systems Engineer (ASN RDA CHSENG); used project management disciplines to provide project planning and development as well as schedule, cost and performance analysis and reporting for multiple projects; identified schedule and cost variances to allow for corrective action. Served as Microsoft Project facilitator providing oversight of all government and contract tasks, resources and schedules; provided acquisition milestone review information.

Coordinated scheduling requirements (semester courses and final exams) for the second largest department of 44 faculty members in support of over 4,300 midshipmen students; scheduled over 400 class sections and 8,500 student enrollments among 86 faculty members during an academic year.Innovative scheduling allowed military personnel to cover all summer school requirements for two consecutive years, saving the U.S. Naval Academy up to $18,000 annually in faculty salary. Taught American Naval History, Western Civilization, and Ethics and Moral Reasoning for the Naval Leader, all courses designed to develop critical thinking and analytical skills for developing naval officers.

Assigned to the Logistics Directorate (J4) current operations division, the focal point for National Military Command Center logistics operations in direct support of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff. Provided assessments and coordination of strategic-level logistics to ensure accurate information for critical decision-making at the national level for the Global War on Terror, world-wide humanitarian relief efforts for post-earthquake response in Taiwan and India as well as the USS Cole and EP-3 response and recovery. Regularly briefed President/Senior Director Joint Staff equivalents on critical logistics issues, including operational insights on non-combatant evacuation operations from India and Pakistan. Extensive Interagency experience collaborating with the White House, Office of Secretary of Defense, FBI, State Department, combatant commanders, the Uniformed Services, eight other Joint Staff directorates and numerous other federal and local agencies to streamline global logistics efforts.

Led maintenance effort for a 275-member, 11-aircraft fleet helicopter squadron providing fleet operational mission support, Fleet Readiness Squadron pilot and aircrew training, and a high-visibility Executive Transport VIP mission. Led 20-man, 2-aircraft detachment in the Mediterranean in support of Commander, Sixth Fleet. Responsibilities included planning, executing and maintaining the detachment in support of daily operations that regularly involved high-visibility Executive Transport of flag and general officers. Executed 500 mishap free flight hours in support of high-priority Sixth Fleet missions, including the flawless execution of a sensitive mission to transport the European theater unified and component commanders, a combined 19-stars, on a strict timeline. Conducted detachment operations with two aircraft while equipped with a maintenance support package for only one aircraft during a 6 month transition to a new type/model/series airframe.

Managed shipboard safety/OSHA program for over 1,200 sailors on a United States warship. Monitored safe execution of 4,000 mishap-free flight deck evolutions and 1,500 aircraft moves in less than six months. Oversaw the first-ever embarkation of a Marine Expeditionary Unit while forward deployed.

Radio and basic instruments model manager and helicopter training squadron standardization flight instructor for 75 flight instructors and 1,000 student pilots. Coordinated a demanding and dynamic 250 flight hour/120 sortie daily flight schedule. Personally selected to a team of experts to develop, on short notice, an instrument training syllabus for foreign national pilots. Received personal accolades for the quality product produced in one week what was normally allotted six months to accomplish.
