I am a self-motivated, determined & enthusiastic professional with a genuine love and passion for Electronics & engineering.Many years of experience Managing a busy repair centre along with the diagnosis and repair of various manufacturer PDA hand held computers used in the data collection industry. I have also had a strong influence in the sales aspect, where I frequently contact new/existing customers to encourage them to buy our services & liaise with the Sales & Marketing manager to discuss new strategies for my department.     As the Service Manager for Blackroc Technology I am responsible for all repairs and sales of used/refurbished equipment. It is my job to ensure that all units sent to us by customers are prioritised accordingly, and that all staff are given the correct tasks. I also speak with the customers directly to issue quotes and negotiate pricing. As the senior engineer, I also have to undertake a significant amount of repairs work to ensure the work load is managed. As well as being an engineer, I also have a strong role in sales of refurbished handhelds, printers, tablets etc. This industry is dynamic and challenging, requiring me to be versatile and be able to adapt to new experiences quickly. My roles summarised:- - Managing a busy Repair Centre - Prioritise the repairs received & organise the staff with work and set targets.- Booking in the items onto a database.- Diagnosis of the unit & write a report on the fault.- Organise a quotation & email to the customer.- Repair the unit & advise the customer on its completion.- Pack the item & book a courier.- Process all paperwork & update Sage account system.- Email out invoices & process orders.- Locate spare parts & place orders on the Sage system.- Answer the phone & email customer enquiries & offer Technical support.- Sales of Refurbished Rugged Handhelds - Input on marketing strategy

Blackroc's Distributions arm was purchased by BlueStar in 2012 and I relocated with BlueStar to continue acting as their Service Manager & setting up a new repair centre from the ground up.Blackroc then reinstated their own Repairs Centre and I moved back to the Stafford site in 2013.
