My early career was in banking, finance and insurance. Working for blue chip institutions, I achieved board level positions, but 25 years ago I decided to make the leap into entrepreneurship.Since then, I have launched new companies and invested in others, and I have been an adviser & NED for a number of businesses and charities.21 years ago, my wife and I launched the first searchable online database of businesses and places that welcome dogs. Over the next few years we built an engaged community of dog owners and we now have more than 150,000 members who are dog owners and more than 60,000 businesses and places registered as welcoming dogs as well as their owners.* We publish the DogFriendly magazine, a 68 page magazine packed full of reviews of places to visit with your dogs.* We host the annual DogFriendly Awards - an opportunity for dog owners to say thank you to their favourite dog friendly place of business and a huge marketing opportunity for businesses and places to show how truly dog friendly they are.* We host the DogFriendly Podcast, an opportunity for guests to talk about dog related subjects.* We arrange DogFriendly Weekend Breaks around the country for dog owners to meet and enjoy each others company with their dogs
