Video Producer
Current• Oversee the full-cycle production and post-production of video content for clients in the public and private sectors• Build and nurture relationships with clients to understand needs, develop project scripts, and address concerns• Manage up to 5 production team members during the planning, development, and execution of client projects• Allocate resources, create production schedules, and develop and administer project budgets worth up to $10,000 • Accountable for casting the project talent, securing filming locations, and hiring production crew members• Track team performance, update stakeholders on progress, and ensure all deadlines and budgets are achieved• Review raw footage and select the best clips to assemble a smooth flowing story as outlined in the accepted script• Edit clips using non-linear editing systems, video switching equipment, video playback, and audio consoles• Insert music, graphics, dialogue, and sound effects into the narrativeKey Achievements:✔ Played an integral role in helping the County of Wellington earn a formal recognition from the UN for their Green Legacy program that planted over 1 million trees by filming a 20-minute documentary on the program✔ Raised public and stakeholder awareness on the negative impact on the County of Wellington’s equine industry caused by new Ontario government regulations by producing a 5-mintue educational film ✔ Created 7 road safety videos for a joint initiative with the County of Wellington and Ontario Provincial Police✔ Shot and edited a 50-minute long documentary on the renowned Paraguayan folk harpist Eduard Klassen ✔ Produced the promotional video for Pro-Lynx brand, oversaw the design of their company website, and created various marketing and branding materials✔ Completed a video for the City of Pickering that documented the success of their economic development policy✔ Partnered with Municipality of Kincardine and Bruce Power to create multiple complex training videos
