TJM is a premier 4WD equipment manufacturer and global distributor with the largest store network in Australia. In 2015 TJM became part of an international conglomerate following it's acquisition by Aeroklas, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of 4WD accessories primarily to OEM's. I was recruited for a newly created Sourcing management role within TJM corporate with core objectives of expanding the company branded product range via implementation of a strategic global sourcing program and establishing appropriate Procurement structures to improve the group's corporate governance framework.As of July 2016, I transitioned to an expanded role incorporating responsibility for identifying and implementing business process improvements both within the Australian business as well as enhancing synergies within the greater group's global network.A primary task presently is to drive a cost reduction program by identifying opportunities across the business to increase profitability as part of a major organisational expansion.

Primary responsibilities included:- Identifying value creation opportunities and undertaking strategic sourcing RFP/Tender initiatives; Contract management; Approval of Vendor T&Cs; Design & implementation of Procurement policies, documents & procedures; Category management; Category & Spend analysis; Approval of new vendors & management of Approved Supplier List; Management reporting; Participation in $150M Business Transformation Project (BTP) revolving around implementation of an ERP system and associated processes.

Primary duties included: - Undertaking RFP and benchmarking initiatives to deliver cost savings and mitigate price increases; Contract negotiation with vendors and internal contractors; Global & local product sourcing; Responsibility for ensuring pricing integrity for a database of approx. 10,000 active parts.Prior to this role I successfully led a purchasing team responsible for ensuring material flow to a finely tuned production line whilst maintaining minimal inventory levels. Given the potential substantial cost implications (the product value ranges from $1M to $7M per boat) and extremely tight completion schedules, a seamless supply chain is critical to the Riviera operation overall.

Prime responsibilities revolved around recruiting temp personnel and filling positions on a daily basis in the industrial labour market. Account manager for the firm’s premium client, filling upwards of 200 temp positions daily. The intention of this appointment was to work for a short period in the Sydney office prior to relocating to establish a new Brisbane branch but this was unfortunately shelved due to a reversal in the firm's finances.

Responsibilities included operational management of 7 major records management facilities and a courier fleet comprising 15 delivery vans, with a combined total of 50 staff. Primary duties included:- Recruitment; Development, rostering and management of operational staff; Ensuring adherence to OH&S, EEO and company policies; Monitoring storage capacities; Chairing operational, transport, OH&S and consultative meetings; Oversight of maintenance and security of all storage facilities and equipment; Maintaining customer service standards.
