I have a proven ability to analyze complex business and technical problems and rapidly deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.With nearly a decade of experience as a first responder, I currently serve as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT and USAR rescue technician in Montgomery County, MD. I have expertise in disaster communications and I have deployed on multiple disasters in the United States and internationally. Since 2011, I have also participated in and supported Pacific Endeavor, a the multi-national disaster communications interoperability program.I serve on advisory committees with the Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security in areas that relate to technology for disaster response and first responders.

The NAC advises the FEMA Administrator on all aspects of emergency management. The NAC incorporates state, local, and tribal governments; nonprofit, and private sector input in the development and revision of the National Preparedness Goal, the National Preparedness System, the National Incident Management System, and other related plans and strategies. The NAC is a congressionally legislated body with 35 members appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the FEMA Administrator.
