I deployed again with NetHope to provide emergency disaster relief in Nepal following the devastating earthquake.I also lead several initiatives for the development and management of global disaster preparedness and response initiatives across the satellite industry, in partnership with NGOs, government and UN agencies. The NAC incorporates state, local, and tribal governments; nonprofit, and private sector input in the development and revision of the National Preparedness Goal, the National Preparedness System, the National Incident Management System, and other related plans and strategies. The NAC is a congressionally legislated body with 35 members appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the FEMA Administrator.
