The selection process is administered almost exclusively by internal staff. Executive sponsor of a cross-functional effort to reduce lost time injuries which resulted in breakthrough (40%) improvement in lost time injury frequency in 2010 and reduced expense by $17 million. Lost time injury frequency was improved from 29,824 hours between injuries in 2009 to 42,435 hours between lost time injuries in 2010.
