Covering all aspects of Supply Chain such as Procurement, Vendor Management, Shipping (international and domestic), Goods In, Dispatch and Stores, plus Material Planning and Planning/Scheduling for Operations programmes.Following a group aquisition of an additional organisation into the StandardAero portfolio, two additional sites were added to the Vector ownership, whereby I assumed responsibility for this company's Supply Chain too. This organisation has its own ERP system, Quality management system, and approvals for such, and therefore has its own policies, processes and proceedures which need to be maintained.Responsibile for all UK contracts and vendor management for all StandardAero operations within UK.Developed various processes and policies with regard to use of Used Serviceable Material within the StandardAero group, sharing best practices and aiding other facilities with establishing their own processes at other facilities.Developed and implimented new KPIs across UK facilities, and provided real-time updates and feedback for such. Within team, promoted growth and development of associates, increasing skills and ability within the group, therefore expanding skillset of all of Supply Chain.Reduced inventory by over 40%, and developed new processes around inventory controls and management.

Providing oversight and support to Vector Aerospace UK for Procurement, across two sites in the South of England and one in Scotland, while interfacing and dealing with other Vector Procurement departments globally to promote international inventory sharing, global spend initiatives, and Procurement strategy and procedures.Development and updating of local policy and procedures to ensure compliance with governance requirements, protecting the business from risk and continuing to provide procurement support to a fast paced work environment.Directly responsible for the Local Procurement Department, a team of Buyers and Material Planners, supporting the Civil Helicopter, Military Helicopter and Engines business units, from forecasting and pre-induction through to test - including AOG support.In addition to line support for business units, the Local Procurement department is responsible for all Company spend, including essential services (such as gas and electricity), capital expenditure, building works, and site maintenance services.Dealing with complex and long term purchases through the procurement cycle, from working with user departments to identify needs, develop specifications, engage suppliers through competitive bid or tendering exercises, draft and award contracts, and provide feedback support for user departments and suppliers through contract life.This role also involves working closely with other support departments, such as Finance - especially the Accounts Payable team - to ensure timely processing of invoices, therefore promoting increased supplier relationships due to payments on time, while picking up and responding to PO to invoice deviations, protecting the business from potential and costly processing errors.

Supporting RR T56, LM QEC (C130J nacelle), P&W PW300 engine linesKey responsibilities:1. Delivery of all required parts to enable repair/overhaul on designated product lines.2. Ensure delivery against operational targets, using LEAN methodology to enable flow whilst reducing stock held within the business, at the same time as controlling WIP.3. Maintain quality controls, whilst actively seeking to reduce costs to maximise gross margin on individual projects with budgets up to £2,500,000.4. Provide regular reports to management and production team on progress and potential issues which could affect production, providing solutions on how risks can be mitigated.5. Operational knowledge of contracts, to ensure build standards for various customers are met (i.e. Overhauled components, modification state, OEM manufactured or manufactured under licence parts).6. Negotiate with suppliers over costs, whist maintaining and developing relations. 7. Develop (where possible) agreements with suppliers to enable beneficial situations for the company (such as fixed price agreements, consolidation stock held at supplier location, scheduled delivery over extended period). 8. Use technical knowledge and experience to assist engineering and production teams to resolve parts related issues, whilst ensuring airworthiness standards are maintained.9. Identify parts which could be harvested from Reduce To Produce (RTP) assets could be utilised to bring down costs on current and future projects.10. Assist Customer Service department with preparation of Cost Estimates to be presented to customer post strip and inspection.Additional responsibilities:1. Associate Involvement (AI) team focal point - enabling team to develop and implement new/revised processes and ways of working. Documenting changes, with before and after examples.2. Improving Quality (IQ) team focal point - aiding team with adherence to LEAN methodologies, using systems and tools such as 5S and Point of Use.

Supporting Sea King helicopters through depth maintenance.Key responsibilities:1. Responsible for multi-functional team across several trade boundaries, including all training requirements, performance appraisals, and disciplinary matters.2. Ensuring all technical issues registered, tracked, documented, and archived in appropriate way to conform to airworthiness standards.3. Liaison between Sea King depth facility, customer, and OEM.4. Repair design (within repair manual guidelines).5. Logistical issue resolution, including controlling all cannibalisation activities.6. MF700 aircraft documentation creation and completion.7. Aircraft documentation task creation (ERP system).8. Assessing aircraft items for serviceability/repairability.9. Co-ordination of "Critical Resource" areas of business (GRP, Refinish, Local Manufacture).10. Co-ordination of issues passed to Agusta Westland (Design Authority).Additional Responsibilities:ERP superuser - responsible for training needs and authorisations of 200+ users of ERP system.Achievements:Creation of new team from a concept explored in a LEAN Rapid Improvement Event, including writing business polices and procedures.Implementation of Workflow computer system to replace existing Technical Queries process, removing chance of lost TQs and ensuring issues could be traced whilst maintaining system integrity to prevent issues being tampered with by unauthorised or unqualified personnel.Implementation of Workflow computer system to promote logistical issues communication. System used by logistics and engineering team on site, Agusta Westland and Sea King Project Team (UK MoD) logistics and engineers at various other sites - including travelling to other sites to carry out training for external users.Creation of automated cannibalisation register and form, reducing time taken out to carry out cannibalisation of aircraft parts from 1.5 hours per item, to 0.5 hours per item.

Responsible for team of between 6 and 9 aircraft planners, including all training requirements, performance appraisals, and disciplinary matters.2. Co-ordination of all tasks, paperwork, and spares for aircraft.3. Detail planning of aircraft on D2 (Major depth event) pulse line.4. Planning assistance for D1 (Minor depth event) pulse line - line sub-contracted to SERCO, all logistical and Critical Resource planning carried out internally.Achievements:Dissolution of planning team to make way for Sea King Limitation Team. To enable this, all day to day planning functions transferred to shop floor team leaders, who needed to be trained on the use of the ERP system prior to transfer of work.

Cat B mechanical engineer, able to carry out first and second signature, plus independent inspections across all mechanical systems on aircraft.Carrying out all aspects of mechanical work on Chinook Mk 2/2A, and Sea King Mk 3/3A/4/5/6C/7 aircraft.Work included strip, survey, rectifications, build, and on ground functional tests on all mechanical systems (airframe, hydraulics, fuel, flying controls, and engine systems).Flight Test support.
