In this role, I support a wide range of activities linked to improving research culture & embedding research excellence at Northumbria University. This includes supporting research assessment exercises and the implementation of action plans linked to internal and external initiatives.

My role involved assisting the School with its recruitment objectives for postgraduate study. Much of my work involved tailored 121 contact with prospective Master's students, enabling them to gather key information and make informed choices about their future studies. I set up and hosted on-campus and online events, student panels and open days on behalf of the School. I travelled overseas to recruitment events and met with our education agents. I also worked closely with the University's CRM system, sending segmented and tailored information to offer holders. It was fantastic having the opportunity to deepen my recruitment and marketing knowledge.

Acting up role (fixed term). Helped develop recruitment strategy, travelled internationally to recruitment events to meet key stakeholders, supported the work of the Engagement, Recruitment and Marketing team at Newcastle University Business School.

Supported the Research and Engagement team at Newcastle University Business School.

Provided clerical and reception support to the Centre for Lifelong Learning, which offered short courses in higher education for adults.

Supporting assessment and registration processes linked to internal and external initiatives for two key programmes and funding bodies. Planned and organised a trip for 40 students and staff to Barcelona.

Clerical support and reception duties including processing of court results and providing administrative support to probation officers.
