Part of the great Lennar Sacramento team, far and away the leader in the Northern CA market building a record 2,297 homes in the Sacramento area in 2023. Half of all homes built in Northern CA are built by Lennar. More than the next 5 homebuilders in the region all combined. I'm tasked specifically with leading a team of 20-30 managers building over 500 new single family homes per year in the area south of Sacramento including Sacramento County, Elk Grove, Galt, and Stockton. Lennar is one of the nation's largest homebuilders, building over 73,000 homes per year nationwide. Lennar generates returns that outpace the competition through unrivaled efficiency and processes--$11B revenue, $12.9B backlog, with net earnings exceeding $4.4B

Operations oversight of a team of 100 building around $200MM in new single family homes in the million dollar price range. Focusing largely in the areas of California that were devastated by wildfires, rebuilding for displaced homeowners, purchasing lots and building new custom homes for profit, and also improving investment properties for resale in the greater Northern CA region.

Applying my experience with business launch and scaling of operations, I built a world class renovations team to launch Opendoor in the Sacramento market--the 15th U.S. market to launch since the company started in 2014. OD is making it simpler to buy and sell homes. Responsible for the Home Ops team of estimators, renovation managers, vendor managers, coordinators, listings managers, home auditors, and field techs managing the entire process efficiently from single family home acquisition to listing to sale.

Area Manager and Responsible Managing Employee for the company managing $10MM horizontal construction and $70MM vertical construction. Responsible for results of teams of offsite contractors, onsite superintendents & assistants, and sales staff in the construction of multiple simultaneous upscale lake view communities with homes priced in the low millions.

Working from our base of operations in California, I provided remote management as well as visited for in-person oversight and guidance to local teams in each region of operation across the U.S. to drive continued improvement priciples in nationwide single family investment operations--hundreds of properties purchased, renovated, and sold annually across all 50 states.

Budgeting Department Head for Northern CA establishing accurate renovation scopes and budgets for 3000 single family acquisitions in the first 2 years alone. Initially scaling the California division from a few managers to a robust team, I was responsible for a staff of 9 estimators and 12 office staff driving pricing and contract negotiation to create a profitable company strategy. Brought company to IPO in 2015 after deploying $1B into the Northern CA market alone.
