• Leader of a group of six Test Engineers in the test development of one of the most complex Power Management IC that Maxim has designed to date (>250 pins, >20 subsystems, fully testable on 0.2mm pitch pin out on wafer and 0.4mm pitch BGA type packaged devices). • Supervisor of entry level engineers and interns.• Released test solutions for fifteen Power Management devices, with subsystems including Buck Converters, Boost Converters, LDOs, Linear Chargers, Switching Chargers, GPIO, Motor Drivers, WLED, Flash LEDs, Back-Up Batteries, RGB LEDs, KeyPad Backlights, Crystal Oscillators, I2C, SPI, SCAN etc.• Responsible for all aspects of Test Engineering for the life of a product including, Test Documentation, Test SW/HW development, correlation, device characterization, release of SW/HW to production, yield improvements, test time reductions, test flow reduction etc.• Responsible for researching hardware, obtaining/negotiating quotes and generating purchase orders.• Developed hardware, using Cadence Allegro, and software, using Visual Basic, to test IC’s multi-site on Teradyne uFlex test systems.• Developed hardware, using Pads Power Logic, and software, using C++, to test IC’s multi-site on KVD test systems.• Led Maxim’s KVD Users Group. Responsibilities included hosting monthly meetings involving representatives from all sites using KVD test systems, developing plans for qualifying/releasing new KVD software versions, overseeing the development of gage SW/HW that is used to ensure all systems are staying within specified tolerances.• Released first test solution to production within 6 months of joining company.
