Having a total of 18 years’ experience in Cloud Security and most recently in Security Assurance spearheading the onboarding of RiskIQ, Netskope and optimizing Qualys configuration to align for best practice in the industry. Currently working with business stakeholders, project managers, pen testers and application security engineers daily to proactively assist in the remediation of vulnerabilities that exist on Suncorp’s web applications. Vulnerabilities identified can come from various sources, external pen testing, Qualys or RiskIQ. All of these complement one another as they see vulnerabilities from different perspectives. This involves understanding of vulnerabilities found and discussing them with technical and non-technical people across the organisation to make them understand what needs to be performed in order to remediate in a timely manner.
