Steve joined TRS to set up a new business TRS Construction Solutions Ltd as Managing Director in late 2011. Previous to this he spent 15 years with ISG Pearce (previously Pearce Group) and spent his formative years with Wimpey Construction.Through his career he has gained extensive experience on major construction projects in varying sectors including Affordable Housing, Health, MOD, Civils, Commercial and Retail.Steve’s career has developed from a Quantity Surveying background through various customer focussed Project/ Account Management roles. Over the past 8 years Steve has developed and led significant business units to a value of £30 million in Account Manager and Director Roles. He has managed key business relationships with key Clients including Sainsbury’s, Safeway, Somerfield/Kwik Save, and Waitrose. He has also led roll out works within the Education Sector. Prior to setting up TRS Construction Solutions, Steve was responsible for developing an Affordable Housing business unit from a standing start and achieved a turnover of £25 million in under 4 years securing and developing Framework and Partnering arrangements with a number of Housing Association/ RSL consortia including Sovereign and Source.His diverse construction industry experience includes new build, extension/ refit, fit out, refurbishment and ‘Roll Out’ management. His experience in major fast track Refurbishment and Renewal ‘Roll Out’ programmes has been invaluable in the delivery of major Client led programmes. He has also been involved in a number of core Client and Contractor Alliances/ Frameworks which has allowed him to be able to transfer methods and initiatives across differing sectors.
