Retired Feb. 2022 as Associate Dean of the School of Education & Professional Licensure; Program Director for Doctoral Research and Quality in the Higher Education and Adult Learning Division and Program Director of the PhD Higher Education Leadership, Management, and Policy specialization.(2002-16) Served on several University committees – Doctoral Readmissions Committee; Laureate Sustaining Innovations Committee; Division Assessment Committee; Inside Track Career Coaching; Planning Team for 2015 National Faculty Meeting. Doctoral Admission committee 2015-present. Served as Divisional Petition Committee Chair 2013-14. Experiences include part-time Instructor for Walden University in Technology in the Classroom Master’s degree program (2002-2005) . In April 2005 became Program Director of Assessment for the MSEd programs. In 2007, became program director for Science & Mathematics and Instructional Design & Technology in the master’s program in the Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership, Walden University. Served as program director for several PhD programs and BS/MS Instructional Design and Technology in the Administration and Postsecondary Division – 2013-14. Charged with managing courses and faculty in the designated programs and for developing an effective instructional design and technology programs. Served as chair for several EdD students successfully completing doctoral studies. Currently serving as PhD 2nd member for dissertation. Designed EDUC 6653 – Practical Research; EDUC 1016 -- Foundations of Education; and SCIE 6663- Living World. Current teaching and research interests are in the all areas of STEM; technology integration in the classroom; rural educational equity; and administrator effectiveness. 2010-2012 – Consultant for the National Consortium for Specialized Secondary Schools of Mathematics, Science, and Technology. (part-time)2003-2005 Staff Affiliate with Northern Arizona University developing administrator and faculty professional development training in the areas of Literacy, Mentoring, and Evaluation. Also consult with the University for the Navajo Reservation schools on Literacy training to develop Reading and Writing curriculum for grades 7-12 and in technology implementation. Worked with school improvement teams on the Navajo and Hopi Nations.
