• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute a nursing plan of care in a high-acuity 28-bed ICUspecializing in Cardiovascular-Critical Care, Cardio-thoracic surgery, and Heart Failure services• Provide direct patient care for patients following myocardial infarction, acute heart failure, heart transplant, open heart surgery, valve repairs and replacements• Maintain and provide advanced life support modalities including vasopressors, vasodilators, titratable medications (sedative, pain, paralytic), mechanical ventilators, renal replacement therapy, Right Ventricular Assist Device without oxygenator, Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Left Ventricular Assist Device, and invasive and noninvasive monitoring (arterial line, Swan-Ganz, CVP, chest tube)

Neuro/Trauma Icu

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary teams to create and execute a nursing plan of care in a high-acuity 24-bed ICU specializing in Neuro-Critical Care, Neurosurgery, Surgical-ICU, and Trauma services.• Provide direct patient care for patients following traumatic brain injury, craniectomy, seizures, tumor resections, acute spinal injuries, hydrocephalus, trauma, respiratory distress, and Rapid Response.• Maintain and provide advanced life support modalities including: vasopressors, vasodilators, titratable medications (sedatives, pain, antiepileptic, paralytic), mechanical ventilators, renal replacement therapy, and invasive and noninvasive monitoring (arterial line, CVP, CPP, EVD, ICP, cEEG, jugular bulb, chest tube, lumbar drain).• Team Lead RN: Assist with staffing, supervising, safety audits, coaching, and quality improvements.• Preceptor: precept and orient new staff to the unit for neurology-related medical devices and neuro-critical care team rounds.
