Business Unit ManagerAfter the Columbus division was sold by ArvinMeritor in 2005, I was promoted to Business Unit manager, responsible for all operations and marketing for TD Center. My immediate focus was on increasing sales and market presence with a combination of Multi-channel marketing tactics including Website, Email, BTB Sales, Print Advertising, Sales Agents and Trade show marketing. I created an international partnership with Indian Company to Franchise TD Center in Chennai, India. Increased product line by partnering with Japanese company to offer PVD coating products to our customers. Working with production, we elevated our Quality and Turn time to ‘Best In Class’ by embracing Customization. I leveraged our strengths in proprietary Thermal Diffusion coating process and Surface Finishing to provide custom solutions for clients, with “off the shelf” turn time.

TD coating is a revolutionary, Vanadium-Carbide, thin-film coating technology for industrial applications. Our clients includea who=s-who of Tier-1 automotive suppliers [Dana, Tower Automotive, General Motors, Johnson Controls, Lear], as well asmany major consumer durable goods manufacturers [Delphi, Whirlpool, Hayworth, Herman-Miller]. As BusinessDevelopment Mgr I had day-to-day responsible for driving sales growth through the multiple marketing channels from LeadDevelopment to Sales Training, along with budget responsibility.

My territory’s profit margin was always in the top tier of the company and well over industry average, often exceeding 40%.
