I have gained extensive knowledge in different types of print including large format, digital, flexographic, screen printing and especially lithographic.I am looking for a position within design and print and feel my greatest strengths are in Production Artwork structured design and also in general artworking, point of sale and corporate ID, Through my years of experience I have understood the urgency of deadlines and the importance to detail within Design/Print and the Reprographics industry. I have extensive knowledge also on all software packages, such as, Quark Xpress, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and have a indepth understanding of PDF Workflows. I have been involved in designing Brochures, Clothing, Packaging, Labels, Carton and Box design and have learnt new techniques and processes that incorporate Scodix and Colour Logic, and much more. I have been able to utilise my skills in working with people through a variety of stages in my life handling work projects from start to finish for blue chip companies such as:Marks & Spencers, British Home Stores, Hugo Boss, Paul Smith, Cath Kidston, Clarks, Primark Eastpak, C&A Clockhouse and many more.Through working on Apple Macs for over twenty years I also possess the technical skills to ensure all software and hardware runs correctly and can sort most problems that will and do occur within the design environment. I would also like this opportunity to mention that I am fully conversant with imposition software to paginate books, catalogues and brochures to make sure that when they are printed all page sequences run and back up correctly. Having a vast knowledge in reprographics is to me of up most importance and being involved in this for such a long time is a great strength in the design and print Industry, I feel its a advantage to put artwork together knowing it can and will print and doesn’t just look good.Summary: Very driven and motived individual.
