As part of the blue brain project and human brain initiative, core responsibilities include development of algorithms and software codes that are extremely critical to the project. Additional responsibilities include:• Building & coordinating a group of researchers and engineers focused on high performance computing and simulation technology on supercomputers• Development of algorithms and write codes in millions of lines in the area of multi scale brain simulation technology• Co-developer and implemented HPC roadmap of Blue Brain Project for petascale transition• Coordinating collaboration with various academic and industrial partners in HPC• Development of an adaptive code to be executed in the multiscale framework to support both offline and run time parallel multiscale simulation to be executed on the largest HPC machines.
